We are the biggest independent and privately owned full-service project management company in Finland. Our comprehensive services cover everything from project planning and environmental impact assessment to site supervision, deployment and acceptance inspections. Ahma draws up the project plan, maintains timetables and budgets, manages procurement and subcontractors and produces contracts and reports.

High quality, solid expertise, total reliability and a customer-driven approach are the cornerstones of Ahma's business. We also help our customers manage all project-related risks. At Ahma, each project and customer is unique. Our company handles demanding public buildings and public infrastructure projects as well as project management for the facility planning, implementation and deployment of power plants and industrial production.

In Finland, Ahma has branch offices in Helsinki, Tampere, Oulu, Rovaniemi and Lappeenranta. The company has foreign offices in Moscow and Kiev. In addition, Ahma serves its customers on a project-specific basis around the world. Our staff has extensive project management experience in 30 different countries.

History of Ahma Engineers Ltd.

2002 Antti Kuivalainen, MSc (Eng.), founds Ahma Engineers Ltd. That same year, Temporary Resident Engineer construction management tasks begin at the St. Petersburg Southwest Wastewater Treatment Plant.

2003 Ahma takes on the management of the Vuosaari port project.

2004 The company continues to grow steadily. Ahma Engineers Ltd. and Teollisuuden voima Oy sign agreements on project management, occupational safety and site supervision tasks for the OL3 nuclear power plant project.

2005 The company expands its activities and founds subsidiaries in Russia and Ukraine. OOO Ahma builds industrial production plants in Russia. TOV Ahma, which operates in Ukraine, builds telecommunications networks as well as production plants. Both companies have full licences to carry out construction activities in their respective countries.

2006 Agnico-Eagle Finland chooses Ahma Engineers Ltd. as the project manager and construction management consultant for its Kittilä mining project.

2007 Operations expand nationwide.

2008 Company expend its activitations by acquiring Lappland Water Research Ltd.

Finnish Transport Agency chooses Ahma Engineers Ltd as the project manager and construction management consultant for its Ring Rail Road –project.

2009 The company expands its activities and founds subsidiary in Sweden.

2010 Kylylahti Copper Ltd chooses Ahma Engineers Ltd as the project manager and construction management consultant for its Kylylahti Mine –project. Endomines Ltd chooses Ahma Engineers Ltd as the project manager and construction management consultant for its Pampalo Mine -project.

2011 Nordic Mines Finland Ltd chooses Ahma Engineers Ltd as the project manager and construction management consultant for its Laivakangas Mine –project.

2012 The company expands its activities in Russia and also founds subsidiary in Kazakhstan.
