In the building construction business, we concentrate on managing demanding renovation and new construction projects. Our expertise covers the execution of projects from requirement studies and project planning to the end of the warranty period. Ahma’s experts have extensive experience with renovation and construction projects. Ahma knows local designers, construction contractors, vendors, authorities and legislation. Our operative system is ISO 9001:2008 certified.

  • We are responsible for the construction management of the business and office building.
  • The main user is Tallink-Silja Plc.

  • The implementation began in 2010 and will be finished in 2011.
  • The client is Building coop Jätkäsaaren Pacific (Nordea Life Assurance Finland Ltd.).

Kittilä Koivukoti, Kittilä

  • We were responsible for the construction management and supervision of construction-technical work.
  • Expansion 2,156 floor-m², volume 7,400 m3.
  • The client was the municipality of Kittilä, technical department.

Senior building, Joensuu

  • We were responsible for preparing the zoning for the senior building, arranging the bidding for the zoning architect, and creating the project plan.
  • The of the project was approximately 15,000 floor-m².
  • The client was Senioripiha Oy.

Murmansk church, Murmansk

  • We are responsible for arranging an office solution by acquiring a lot for the new building, obtaining office space from a finished building or arranging for a stake in a building coop.
  • The client is the development fund for Murmansk region parish work.

Baikal Resort, Baikal

  • We were responsible for the monitoring of base research work and presented three area plan alternatives for the resort to be built.
  • The client was Alfa Group Pacific Limited.

Ikano Retail Centers AB, Tampere

  • We were responsible for the design construction and supervision.
  •  Building management of the atrium part of the Ikano department store, 1,000 floor-m².
  • Date of implementation 2009–2010.
  • The client was IKANO Retail Centers Finland Oy.

Ikano Retail Centers AB, Vantaa

  • We are responsible for the tasks of the construction management of the Vantaa department store.
  • The site measures 13,800 floor-m².
  • Date of implementation: 2010–2012.
  • The client is Ikano Retail Centers Finland Oy.

City of Helsinki Real-estate department, Premises centre, Helsinki

  • The City of Helsinki Premises centre concluded a long-term partnership agreement with Ahma Engineers on construction management and supervision, including building technology, 2006–.
  • We are responsible for the design construction and supervision of various sites.
  • Most significant sites:
    • Annantalo, art centre for children and youth, ventilation renovation
    • Kindergarten Kaleva, renovation
    • Kindergarten Tapio, renovation

Building coop Porvarinkuva

  • We were responsible for the design construction and supervision of the site.
  • 67 residential apartments, floor space 7,360 floor-m².
  • The client was Building coop Porvarinkujan Pientalot.

Building coop Nokian Maamerkki

  • We were responsible for the local monitoring of a site of 52 residential apartments.
  • Date of implementation: 2009–2010.
  • The client was Taitokaari Oy.

Ounashalli, Rovaniemi

  • Repair of Ounashalli in Rovaniemi.
  • We were responsible for the design construction and supervision.
  • The client was the city of Rovaniemi.

Sokos, Tampere

  • Repair of Sokos department store, Tampere.
  • We were responsible for the supervision of construction-related work.
  • The client was Pirkanmaan Osuuskauppa.

Metla head office, Vantaa

  • Improvement of Metla’s building 3 in Jokiniemi.
  • We were responsible for the project and construction management of the improvement.
  • The key figures of the project are: floor area 2,867 m2, total area 3,300 m2 and volume 11,500 m3.
  • The date of implementation was 2007–2008.
  • The client was Senaatti-Kiinteistöt.

Improvement and new construction of Rälssitie vocational school, Vantaa

  • After the completion of the new wing, operations were transferred there to allow the school to operate normally during the renovation of the pre-existing structure. The implementation was scheduled in accordance with the school semesters.
  • We were responsible for project construction management and supervision.
  • The key figures of the project are: extension approximately 6,000 m2, approximately 38,000 m2 and renovation approximately 7,100 m2, approximately 42,000 m2.
  • The date of implementation was 2005–2008.
  • The client was Vantaan Teollisuuskiinteistöt Oy.

Harjavalta office and laboratory building, Harjavalta

  • The area of the office and laboratory building is about 3,000 m2.
  • We were responsible for construction management of the site.
  • The date of implementation was 2008–2009.
  • The client was Norilsk Nickel Harjavalta Oy.

Kittilä mine, Kittilä

  • Kittilä mine office and laboratory.
  • We were responsible for the design construction and supervision.
  • The volume of the office and laboratory building is about 16,650 m3.
  • The client was Agnico-Eagle Finland Oy.

Kittilä mine process plant, Kittilä

  • We were responsible for the design construction and supervision.
  • The volume of the process plant is approximately 55,000 m3.
  • The client was Agnico-Eagle Finland Oy.

Volvo Truck Center , Lieto

  • We were responsible for the design construction and supervision.
  • The largest maintenance and repair centre for trucks and buses in Europe.
  • Surface area 5,000 m2
  • The date of implementation was 2008–2009.
